   I don’t mean to bug but I’m confused… are you going to finish subbing this series before you go on hiatus, or are you on hiatus now? The message in the updates section makes it seem like you’re gone now…

   I’m very sad you’re going on hiatus too… this is my favourite sub group… but everyone needs a break. Thank you for all the work you’ve done to bring awesome jdramas to us who can’t speak japanese. You have the best hardsubs I’ve seen, with perfect file sizes, and you always pick up the best dramas to sub… I’m such a fangirl of you guys!

   Yes, we’ll finish subbing this series. Unfortunately a lot of ill-bred leechers nagged our translator into nearly quitting the project, that’s why we disabled public commentary and are giving her some breathing space at the moment. But we’ll definitely finish what we started. Thanks for your nice comments.

   I agree with Katapult I hate the peeps that nag and are rude all the time especially when they are free. I would rather wait for quality subs also thank your translator from me as the subs are great and thanks for ep 06

I started getting a little worried when I saw “Sometimes silence is the best answer” but I hoped you would do the right and honorable thing and finish it like you said you would, and it looks like you will. So thank you. I understand there are other aspects in your life that you would rather pursue. I wish you luck in those endeavors and will wait patiently for the completion of this series.

    Just a quick line to let you know something nice for a change. A few days ago, my father, who has never been to Japan, was laughing so hard he almost had an asthma attack. When I asked him what was so funny, he pointed to his computer screen and said “This Yankee drama is so great, you have to see it.” He is 62, white, and retired for medical reasons and not much makes him smile anymore. It was your sub and your hard work that made him laugh. Just thought you should know.

    i’m sure there are lotsa wonderful j-dorama out there but in my little world, this one takes the cake (at least since samurai high school). the opening scenes of the first ep are just gorgeous and it’s great that you all decided to let the english-speaking masses get in on it. a big thanks to all your efforts…

    @Lesli, I recommend ‘Rookies’ if you haven’t seen it yet! Give it a try and you’ll love everyone in the drama by the end. As for Yankee-kun to Megane-chan I’m waiting for all eps to be subbed and then I’ll watch it.

    I want to say thank you for subbing this series! It means a lot to me, because I went to Japan and stayed with a host family, and this show was my host sister’s favorite show, i watched it with her for two weeks, and I was soo happy to find this show with fan subs! So THANK YOU!!!!
